Student Biography

Currently, Max Wnorowski is a fifth year student at The Pennsylvania State University and working toward obtaining a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a focus in Construction Management.  

Max's professional experience has been split between research opportunities and work within a design build group.  During the summer of 2014, Max was able to intern at the GridSTAR Experience Center run through the The Pennsylvania State University Department of Architectural Engineering where he was able to work with sustainable building construction techniques.  During Max's four year of school he worked with the Pennsylvania State University Center for Sustainability as a research assistant.  During the year he researched inspectors description of the building code and how it relates to solar design.  In the summer of 2015 Max had an opportunity to work at Massaro Design Build, LLP in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.  During the Summer Max was able to work with the Buisiness Development team, Design team, Estimating team, as well as the Construction Management team.  Working through the entire building process was invaluable to understand the process of the construction industry. 

 

While a student at Penn State, Max participated in a few organizations.  He was a Strategic Planning Chair as well as Executive Board Member of the Student Society of Architectural Engineering.  He also became a mentor to students entering the major.  Max also played for the Men's Ultimate Frisbee Team through all five years of school.  During three years as a player he operated as the team captain and coach.
