Over the past acedemic year, the Hotel Building Ohio Valley Region has been analyzed with four depth topics in construction and two breadth topics in other areas of the Architectural Engineering program at Penn State.  Analysis 1 focuses on the possible implementation of a short interval production schedule for interior trades. Analysis 2 focuses on different acoustical changes in construction. Analysis 3 focuses on the use of an alternate scaffolding system.  Analysis 4 was a research opportunity for the application of Prefabrication in SIPS.  The two breadth topics were focused on lighting efficinecy and an exterior wall redesign for acoustical comfort.

Through discussion with the project manager and other team members and advisor meetings this report could be completed.   This report is intended to be for strictly educational purposes for the Penn State Architectrual Engineering senior thesis and not as a critique of the project or team in any way.
